Denmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) is an internationally recognised technical university located in Lyngby, just North of Copenhagen. DTU provides internationally leading research, education, innovation and public service.

DTU was founded by H.C. Ørsted, a famous Dane known as the “father of electromagnetism,” in 1829. It was his vision to develop and promote the natural and technical sciences in a way that would be of benefit to society. Today DTU ranks high among the leading universities of Europe.
